Red Deer Farmers' Market Display

I just wanted to share a quick photo of my display at the Red Deer Farmers' market.

The two tables are identical.  I off set them slightly to allow people to get a closer look at the items on the second table.

You may be asking yourself, "But Sandi, how can those two tables be identical?  One is obviously taller than the other."  I took PVC pipe and cut it to 1.5' lengths.  Stuck each table leg into a pipe and it raised the table up.  Very cool!  Found the idea on pinterest.

Obviously I still need to look at rearranging my display.  I'm still not happy with it.  I'm not sure how to give the small items a better view.  The two frames in the background are on easels.  One stands on the ground and one sits on the table.

More Notepads

Made a few more notepads for a few farmers' markets.  Personalized mine and one for my mom.  This is just a quick post to share those photos.

Note Book

I'm not sure where the summer has gone.   I had big plans to stamp or sew every day but that didn't exactly happen.  A small part of that is the fact that my parents moved to Alberta in June so there's been lots of visiting going on.  I love that they are only a 30 min drive away instead of 14 hours!!!!!!

I also did a couple of farmers markets in Red Deer and Delburne.

I finally got my butt in gear the other day and made this cute little notepad.  I found that at the markets I was trying to keep track of names, email addresses and phone numbers on a piece of paper.  Then the wind stole my paper and I had to run after it.  I needed something a little more permanent.  I didn't want to lose a single precious contact!  My favorite part about this notebook is that I can replace the notepad inside when I need a new one.  I picked up these notepads at the dollar store.  There weren't very many papers per pack so I basically bought the store out of pads. However, I didn't want to waste the work that went into creating this cutie so I wanted to make sure I could replace the pads easily.

Stampin Up! Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Pacific Point
Stampin' Up! Paper:  Soft Suede, Whisper White, Various Retired Designer Paper
Stampin' Up! Stamps:  Clockworks, Gorgeous Grunge
Stampin' Up! Misc:  Sponges, Simply Pressed Clay, Flower Mold, Vintage Ribbon, Big Shot, Big Shot Alphabet Die (I think it's San Serif)
Misc:  Dollar Store Notepad, Medium Chipboard

I will create a YouTube video over the next couple days for creating this project.  I need to make one of these notebooks for my mom anyways. She has the same problem as I do collecting names and contact info.  She teaches oil painting classes and is setting up classes here in Red Deer and Delburne.  Check out her blog!  She hasn't had time to update recently due to the move but who doesn't appreciate blog loving?  If you're in the Red Deer/Delburne area, she's having her first painting class in Delburne on September 21, 2013.

I will be posting more consistently now.  I'm signed up for farmers markets once a week for August so I need to update my items.  Need to think of some cute ideas (or peruse the internet for some!)

I hope your summer is going well!  Enjoy the sunshine!  If you're suffering from all the flooding, I hope that your summer becomes a dry one!

Stamp on!
